THE VW CRAWLER GETS STARTED!

 This project starts with an LS-1, Powerglide, Atlas 5.0, Currie 9" housings w, High 9 centers held up by Walker Evans air shocks.

After a year this project gets new life.

This car will get a Howe double ended steering ram so we built steering arms to hold it.

With the thought of going fast bump stops were added to the car.

 Then the 1350 2" .120 wall chromoly drive shafts were measured up and built in house for  the best fit and no shipping delays.

By building the drive shafts in house we can find the best fit and ensure no binding through out the full travel of the suspension with out having to use limit straps.

The steering column, brake master cylinder / pedal mount and throttle pedal were fitted in the drivers compartment.

Unlimited

This project started life as a 98 Wrangler body and the customer wanted to stretch it to an unlimited spec.

This unlimited has a 515hp LS1, 4l60, atlas II,  Dana 60 front and rear, King coilovers and Walker Evans wheels.

Under the dash you will find a Vintage Air ac / heater unit.

This jeep has a list of parts that wont quit;

Lets start with 500 hp ls1 from Turnkey Engine Supply, 4l80E transmission from Hughes Performance, Atlas 3.8 from AA, Rock jock 60's from Currie Ent., Walker Evans beadlock polished wheels, Exhaust by Rob McCabe, Racepak digital dash, gps by Lowrance, lights by Hella and it's all stuffed into a bobbed scrambler aluminum tub that has been modified w/ a TJ cowl and hood.

This is our latest line of the liberty body this car hold four kids and two adults or pull the pins in the rear seat and re-pin the two adult seats in and get four adults and one kid.
